Promoting Education One Classroom at a Time; A Contest by How Many Syllables

New York, NY — How Many Syllables, a New York based startup, announces the winner of September’s Let Teachers Teach contest: Carly Zervis, eighth grade English teacher at Citrus Springs Middle School in Citrus Springs, Florida.

Let Teachers Teach is a reoccurring monthly contest that gives teachers a chance to win $250 which will be spent on their students. How the prize winnings are spent is determined by the winning teacher. After all, teachers know which resources can make the most impact to their students. One $250 prize will be awarded to one eligible winner, once per month, every month until 12/31/2015.

Ms. Zervis plans to use the prize winnings to purchase wireless keyboards for her students’ school-issued iPads. In addition to the prize winnings, How Many Syllables has pledged to donate 15 wireless keyboards to Ms. Zervis’ classroom.
